Reporting to the Contact Centre Manager, as a team leader you will assist to recruit, on board, coach, train and develop a new team, with the focus to increase Customer Service and Sales in health insurance products, minimising customer complaints, and driving Sales, focusing on the unique features and benefits of the products. This role is both strategic, where you will be required to attend monthly reviews to present on your team’s successes to product and senior managers, as well as being tactically focused on driving performance of your front line team to deliver the business results required. Ultimately your main role will to be to provide superior customer service and enhance sales.

Key Duties:

  • Managing an established team of Sales and Service Professionals
  • Actively lead, engage and develop the team to meet Sales & Service Outcomes
  • Lead Change implementations across your team
  • Develop and champion contact centre improvements and initiatives
  • Coach, motivate and lead employees to ensure quality and targets are met
  • Working with key stakeholders and customers

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous leadership experience in a contact centre environment
  • Fast-paced, self-starter who is adaptable to change and moving goals
  • Proven experience in retention or sales
  • A true passion for sales and delivery
  • Process Improvement Experience
  • Experience driving quality Service
  • Exceptional problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent Communications skills – both verbal and written
  • Strong Business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to contribute to call centre strategy
